Leuthold Elected
Homers' Copt.
Chuck Leuthold, Penn
State’s most improved cross
country runner, was elected
captain of the Lions’ 1965
cross country team.
One of State’s smallest
athletes (5-5, 113), Leuthold
capped an outstanding sea
son in last week’s IC4A’s by
finishing 20th, tops among
Lion entrants.
“Pound for pound. Chuck
is the best athlete at Penn
State,” John Lucas, head
track coach, said last night.
Leuthold is also slated to
compete in the two-mile event
for State’s indoor track team.
