Revised Women's Rules Set for Fall
The set of women’s regulations
as revised by the Association of
Women Students’ Senate and ap
proved by the dean of women’s
office will go into effect next
fall, Patti McGill, chairman of
the AWS Rules and Revision com
mittee, said recently.
The major changes have been
in dress code liberalization, Miss
McGill said. Bluejeans are still
considered inappropriate dress
for the dining hall; however,

will be 11:30 p.m. This regula
tion was added, Miss McGill said,
because coeds are taking unneces
sary travel permissions.
Two minor changes in the reg
ulations include a definition of
overnight, which is any night
spent in a 30-mile radius of Uni
versity Park, and a sample sign
out sheet which will be added to
the Penn State Woman, the AWS
booklet.
