Students Warned
On Life Plan Names
A brochure for a life insurance
plan with a name similar .to the
plan endorsed by the Undergrad
uate Student Government two
weeks ago is now being mailed to
University students at their home
addresses.
USG President Dean Wharton
warned students yesterday-not to
confuse the two plans. The policy
endorsed by USG, Wharton said,
will not be made available until
the beginning of next month.,
.The USG endorsed plan is
called The University Life Plans,
Inc, and is underwritten by the
Life Assurance Company of Penn
sylvania.
' As an additional means of iden
tification, Wharton said, there will
be a letter from him enclosed with
the brochure describing the USG
endorsed plan.
The "policy being mailed, The
University Life Plan, Is under
written by a Virginia company.
Fidelity Bankers Life Insurance Co.
The details of the two plans are
similar, as are their names, but
they should . not be confused,
Wharton said.
