Will Meet at Reunions June 1446
University alumni of 10 differ—
ent classes will reminisce with
classmates about college days
gone by at the 1962 class reunions
June 14-16.
Among the general reunion ac
tivities planned are the Alumni
Institute% sessions, with talks
given by professors on timely
topics; the All-Class. Luncheon,
with box lunches and an enter
tainment program; campus .bus
tours and the Alumni Parade.
Special class events will include
class get-reacquainted parties and
banquets.
ALUMNI and guests, with the
exception of the. 'Pioneers," will
be housed in SimmcFns,,and McEl
wain residence halls. The "pio
neers,'" alumni who were gradu
ated from the
,University 50. or
more years ago, will stay in the
Nittany Llon Inn.
Between 1,500 and 2,000 alumni
and guests ate expected to attend
the reunion.
A highlight of the program will
be the presentation of the 1962
Distinguished' Alumnus Awards
and the Penn State Woman of the
Year Award by President Eric A.
Walker. Walker. will also speak
on "The State of the, University."

To Hold Institute
The third,. summer Institute, on
Effective_ Teaching for Engineer
ing Teachers will be held here
from August 26 to September 8.
;Seventy engineering; teachers
will participate in the : program,
supported by a $64,000 grant from
the Ford Foundation and co-spon
sored -by the American Society
for Engineering Eduepon.

speak on "Science: A Faith in a
University" at the baccalaureate
service for graduating seniors at
10:55 a.m. tomorrow in Schwab.
The service is replacing the non
denominational Chapel service
which is usually held at this time.
The public is invited to attend. al
though the service is designed
