Players to Ad on Revolving Stagm
Two revolving stages and two
movable platforms will 'be used
in the Penn State Players pro
duction of "Witness for the Prose
cution" at 8 p.m. tomorrow, Fri
day and Saturday in Schwab.
The sets, designed by William
.Albawl, assistant professor of
theater arts, depict a London
courtroom and the chambers of
the defense attorney fora young
'man sawed of murder.
• The pl 6 concerns the trial of
Leonard Vole who is charged
with the murder of a rich, elderly
woman whom he had befriended.
His lawyer, Sir Wilfrid Robarts,
Queen's councilor, tries to save
him despite the • complications
presented - by Vole's mysterious,
foreign-born wife.

City, will portray Vole's wife, Ro
maine; and John Whitesell, senior
in the arts from State College,
is cast as the accused, Vple.
Director of the cast of 30 is
Walter ? H. Walters, head of the
Department of Theatre Arts. "Wit
ness for the Prosecution" is the
first play Walters .has -directed
on campus since 1956.
