COmmittee Charters
OSGA, Keystone
The Organization of Student
Government Associations and the
Keystone Society were recently
chartered by the Senate Commit
tee for ,Student Affairs, Robert
Fisher, ()SCA president said last
night.
"OSGA acts as a mason agency
between Student Government As
sociations of the center's and
campuses of the University with
out possessing, any legislative
authority," Fisher said.
The • Student Government As
sociation president and a student
leader from other campus com
pose the membership of OSGA,
Fisher said. An administrator from
each campus attends the meetings
but does not vote, he added.
OSGA HAS BEEN active since
1960 and although unchartered
has been' permitted to have three
meetings each year plus a sum
mer workshop at the University
Park campus, Fisher said.
Improvement of inter-campus
communications,, primarily
through; exchange of publications
has been a major project of OSGA,
" he said!. The organization is cur
rently Working toward extending
the student insurance program. of
the University Park campus to
the Commonwealth . campuses.

stimulate interest and participa
tion in the co-curricular (academic
and activities)` life -at the cam
puses, Fisher said .
Each campus wishing to start
a Keystone Society must have its
charter approved by its' local com
mittee for student affairs.

"It is hoped, however, that corn
