was established in 1049, and re
vised in 1955, and has actually
existed six years longer than the
years for which Gregg gave sta
tistics.
Robert Umstead, advertising
manager, said that the concen
tration of members from the three
houses is caused by, the fact that
there are few male candidates for
13X who are not from these
houses. "The announcements for
BX candidates are publicized and
anyone is free to try out," he
said, "but as an example; this
year there are only three male
candidates who are not members
of these fraternities."
