PAGE TWO Soph Board Studies Summer Activities The Sophomore Class Advisory Board, under the chair manship of Edwin Grinberg, has surveyed over 60% of the various organizations on campus to determine to what extent they are planning to ,operate during the' summer term. The survey shows that some will operate under small changes, some will operate on the same basis as they do in the oth er terms and some will not func tion at all. Board members found the fol lowing activities scheduled for the summer: The Business Administration student council will hold month ly meetings and will draw up an orientation program for their stu dents. The Dilily Collegian will pub lish at least one issue a week. WDFM will be on the air. prob ably from. 7 p.m. until midnight seven days a week. The Student Check Cashing Agency will operate on a half day basis. The Hillel Foundation plans to continue with religious services only on Friday nights and Satur day mornings. The Lutheran Stu dent Association will operate on a limited schedule. Organizations planning to op erate as usual, according to the survey, are: University Amateur Radio Station, Camera Club, Schuplattlers Club, Student Tri bunals, Traffic Court, Phi Delta Kappa, and Sigma Tau Delta.. Those definitely not going to function are: Liberal Arts Stu dent Council, Engineering Stu dent Council, Agriculture Stu dent Council, Home Economics Student Council, Mineral Indus tries Student Council, Interfra ternity Council and Panhellenic Council. Thespians, Players, Froth, News and Views, Central Promolion Agency, Newman Club, Leonides, Jazz Club, Orchestra, Alpha Phi Omega, Gamma Sigma Delta, Ac counting Club, Pr—Veterinary Societies, Poultry' Club, Future Farmers of America, , 4-H Club, Agriculture Engineering Club, Clover Club and Horticulture Club. The workshop members will recommend policies for the future development of the system. Each member of a judicial body will be assigned to one of the fol lowing discussion groups: Policies on Discipline University and Student, Plans for the Future, Responsibilities and Jurisdiction, or Penalties and Enforcement. The groups led by one of the judicial chairmen will meet Sat urday morning and afternoon in the Hetzel Union Bulding. A banquet in Dining Rooms A and B of the HUB will begin the workshop tomorrow night.
