PENNSYLVANIA LA Courses To Be Varied For Summer The College of The Liberal Arts will be offering a larger and more diverse program this sum mer than in previous summer sessions. “The liberal arts college will be offering a wider variety of courses so that a student in a liberal aits curriculum can plan on a solid program for the sum mer term,” Richard 6. Maloney, assistant to the dean, said. The college has also, made course accomodations for the en tering freshmen, Maloney added. In .planning our summer pro gram we don’t have the problems that the technical colleges have since people in liberal arts have more electives and more fluctu ating schedules, he said. We aren't as concerned with sequen tial courses either, Maloney con tinued. Barbara Johnson, president; Carol Connelly, vice president, and Linda Huston, secretary-trea surer, will attend the conference which will be held March 23, 24 and 25 in New York City. Myron L. Coulter, council advisor, will also attend. In other business, Miss John son announced that a coffee hour will be held after Easter vacation. John R. Rackley, dean of educa tion, and Abram W. Vandermeer, associate dean of education, will explain the four-tdrm plan to students in the college.
