DuMars May
Face Pitt
Tomorrow
Mark DuMars, Penn State’s
leading scorer, is officially
listed as a question mark for
tomorrow night’s Rec Hall
meeting with Pitt at 8.
But the medical department did
say that the ankle sprain DuMars
suffered against Buckncll Tues
day was finally responding to
treatment.
The little back court star seemed
to be moving better at practice
last night even though his activi
ties were limited to shooting at a
side basket.
Thiough 15 games, DuMars has
scored 241 points for an average
of 16.1.
Gene Harris is second to Du-
Mars ill scoring with 217 points in
15 games, an average of 14.5
points per outing.
Harris is the team leader in
two departments—shooting per
centage and rebounding.
The fi-3 jumping jack has made
08 of 190 shots (45.5 per cent) and
has pulled down 145 rebounds.
Jake Trueblood is the runner
up to Harris in rebounding with
108 and he has the second best
shooting average (42.7).

Cadet Gymnasts Lose Star
Army’s gym leam, an upset vic
tor over Penn State last year,
won’t be at .full strength for its
return match with the fired-up
Nittanies in Rec Hall tomorrow
afternoon at 2:30.
Army will be without star ring
man Jon Aaronsohn, who has an
arm injury and hasn’t appeared
in a meet all year. Last year
Aaronsohn was one of the big fac
tors in the Black Knights’ 54 >4-
41 \k victory that snapped the
Lions’ 14-meet win streak.
A week later the Cadets beat
Navy to win the eastern gym title
but. the Lions more than evened
the score when they walked
away with national honors.
Last year Aaronsohn, the east
ern champ in his specialty, scored
a 281 to beat Jerry Schaefer. With
Aaronsohn out, the Cadets will

Hastings.
Garens is outstanding on the
side horse and Hastings leads an
experienced squad of rope climb
ers. Hastings won the rope climb
in last year’s meet with State in
3.6 seconds.
Greg Weiss and Tommy Sew
ard, the Nittanies’ top scorers,
have been hitting their routines
well in practice this week and
Wetlstone is hoping their perfor

to overcome the Cadets’ depth ad
