for them just asking for pres
ents which will help .thern
make a better Penn State.
I know you have not heard
from these people for many
years, Santa. but you must
forgive them as they have
become too shy to ask for
your help. Age does that to
people.
For our Elections Commis
sion Chairman: a handbook
on how to regulate elections
and a phone monitor to help
him decide whether he is in
or out.
For our SGA president: a
handbook on how to gather
information on student opin
ion. (This should include a
list of reasons to make him
understand why he must get
this information.)
For Mr. Diem: a shiny
parking lot for the front lawn
of Old Main so his visitors
can park close to that archi
tectural wonder.
For Dr. Berneuter: office
space on the second floor of
Old Main. (This request has
been presented before; so,
please Santa, try harder.)
For Lions Paw: "secrecy"
space on the first floor of
Old Main.
For Froth: subscriptions to
other off-color magazines so
the staff may view their con
temporaries.
For the Association of
Women Students: parrots.
For all coeds: a new meth
od of bed checks. (This busi
ness of trooping outside at
3 a.m. in freezing weather
so you can "Check In" is
sad.)
For Omicron Delta Kappa:
a book on how to make
pizza.
For the Writers of Letters
to the Editor: Typewriters
and a course in how to use
them.
