Diem Vetoes TIM Suggestion
On Commuter Parking Lots
Albert E. Diem, vice presi
dent for business administra
tion, has turned down the
fawn Independent Men's
Council suggestion to open
two parking lots nearer the
center of campus for com
muter use, Robert Fry reported
to the council Wednesday night.
Diem, Fry said, felt the small
distance saved for the commuters
would not warrant the confusion
of the changeover.
Fry has been investigating
parking conditions for commut
ing students for the council. He
said he would continue to keep in
touch with the Student Govern
ment Association's Traffic Code
Investigation Committee an d
would report to the council on its,
activities.
