THURSDAY, OCTOBER 27, 1960 Women's Judicial Board Acts on Dorm Violations Pollock and McElwain-Sim mons area judicial commit tees acted Tuesday on cases concerning violations of the sign-out rules, failure to at tend fire drills, and a case in volving a coed being out of the residence hall after hours. A penalty of one week's with drawal of hours was issued by the Pollock board to the girl who had been out after hours. Two one o'clock withdrawals were Oven to another coed who opened a locked side door in order to let the first coed back into the dormitory. Two coeds who had left cam pus for weekend travel without the signature of their parents on traveling permission slips were also brought before Pollock judi cial. McElW , ain - Simmons judicial heard the cases of three girls who had failed to sign in or out on leaving the residence halls in the evening. Depending on individual cases, the girls are required to ; sign in and out in the presence of their hostesses for a period of five to nine •days. Twci girls were also warned by the McElwain - Simmons board for failure to attend fire drills. Sandra Slish. chairman of the central judicial committee, said that in the future the area com mittees will issue penalties for inattendance at fire drills.
