The corporation awarded a $500,000 sub-contract for the second phase of construction of a nuclear reactor being built at Saxton. The reactor will be used to study the process of generating electric power by nuclear means. By becoming a member of : the corporation the University will be able to use the facilities for teaching and research. The first phase of the project, the building of a 110-ft., 262-ton containment vessel, was recently completed by Bethlehem Steel Co.
