PAGE EIGHT Auto Crash Kills Coed Saturday Betty Jo Cordell, 21-year-old senior in secondary education from Everett, was fatally injured in an automobile accident Satur day evening on Route 26, five miles north of that Bedford Coun ty community. Miss Cordell suffered a frac tured skull, broken right arm, internal injuries and severe shcck when her ear collided at 7:55 p.m. with one .driven by William Wig field, 32, of Everett. After the crash, Miss Cordell's car rolled across a field and she was thrown from it. She died at 12:20 Sunday morn ing in the •Bedford County Me morial Hospital. Wigfield, his wife and 2-year old son were injured slightly. Miss Cordell was driving alone at the time of Ike accident. The exact cause of the accident, which happened in daylight un der normal weather conditions on a wide two-lane highway, was un known. But State Police said they flacstioned an unidentified driver of a third car said to have forced Mi ss Cordell's auto off the high way where it went out of con / nf>i prior to the collision with the Wigfield car. A graduate of Everett Southern high school.
