Elks Club.

Town Independent Man Award
was Frank Jankosky, outgoing
TIM vice president Ralph Levy,
Rimer TIM secretary, received
the award as Outstanding Non-
Senior Town Independent Man.

A conference to help cardiac
homemakers learn methods for
conserving energy in the perfor
mance of their household tasks,
will be held on May 31 at thel
University.
Dr. Eugene H. Mateer, president
of the Centre County Heart Asso
ciation, will spe.ak at the opening
'session on "Your Heart and Your
',Homemaking Job."
While this conference will only
enroll 30 cardiac homemakers, it
hoped that it will be the begin
ning of a larger program that
will eventually benefit cardiac
homemakers from all parts of
Pennsylvania.
