In one of these events contestants will compete to see who can throw 5-foot logs the farthest. In the Bull-of-the Woods competition, two men will be equipped with boxing gloves. They will stand on a log and each will try to knock the other off. Other events will test the skill of the future foresters with the standard tools of the lumberman. The speed of a 2-man team in cutting through a 10-inch timber is the object of one event and skill with the power saw the object of another. Still another test of skill is the Log Rolling contest. Besides these and other con tests. an open house will be held in the Forestry Building. A barbecued beef dinner will be held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the barbecue pits in Hort Woods. The dinner will cost 50 cents a person.
