Every year this event is planned
and produced by the students and
faculty of the College of Home
Economics. It is fash oned to ap
peal to the interests o : high school
students, visiting alumni, and pro
fessional people as veil as stu
dents here at the TJ liversity.
A highlight of tie weekend
will be a talk by Dr, Morbett L.
Miniz, of the dep irtmenl of
social relations at H irvard Uni
versity, who will sseak about
"Psychological Effects of Sur
roundings." Miniz will consider
the effects of room conditions
on people.
A few of the programs planned
especially for visiting high school
students are: “What Teen-Agers
Eat,” given by Louise W. Hamil
ton, associate professor of foods
and nutrition; “Date Duds,” given
by Eunice Deemer, instructor in

in home economics will present
a fashion show in Schwab Audi
torium entitled "Fashions Here
and There," Students will model
clothes which they have made
in clothing and textiles courses.
An added attraction in the
fashion show will be the partici
pation of nursery school children
wearing clothes made by coeds
enrolled m children's clothing
courses.
