Senate to Grant
Fellowship to
'6O Graduate
Applications for two John W.
White Fellowships are available
to students who plan to gradu
ate in 1960-61, Joseph F. Bradley,
chairhian of the Senate Commit
tee on Scholalships and Awards,
said yesterday.
The fellowship is worth $6OO
and the recipient of the award can
do graduate work here or at any
other school of his choice.
Applicants must be of high
class standing, and the recipients
will be chosen by the Senate
Committee on Scholarships and
Awards. Bradley said that the
recipients will be-selected on the
committee's opinion of those
qualities of ability and person
ality that will enable them to
profit best by graduate study.
Applications are' available in
the office of the Coordinator of
Scholarships, 205 D Old Main, and
must be returned to this office by
5 p.m. March 10.
