SIGNING OUT AND IN A RESI DENCE HALL. a. Signing Out, A student who plans to be away ft um her residence hall after 8 p.m is ex pected to sign out at a designated place according to established pin-. cedut e. She need not sign out in person. How es er, she is held responsible for any error made in the pi ncedni e h. Signing In. Upon rein' mng to her residence hall, the student, herself, shall sign in. not ing the exact time of her return. 2. OVERNIGHTS A student shall have a clear under standing with her patent concerning absences from residence halls over night a. Women students •re permitted to stay overnight: 1. In other women's residence halls, Players to Present` 'Top of the Stairs' The plot of William Inge's "Dark at the Top of the Stairs" is not only one story, but a series of short stories. Player's second Center Stage production of the semester will open April 1, and will run weekends until May 14. Donald Paxton, junior in physical education from Latrobe, and Anne Grant, junior in busi ness education from State Col lege, will play Eben and Cora Flood, the parents of a small boy and teen-age daughter. Their personal conflict is one theme which adds to the prob• lems of the boy and girl. Rich ard Gorlow, a 9-year-old boy from State College, will play the part of their son, Sonny. Gorlow was selected through Dr. Walter H. Walter's theater instruction class for teachers of the State College area. Muriel Liney, sophomore in arts and letters from Huntingdon, will play the part of the teen-age daughter, Reenie. The part of Sammy, a young boy from the Military Academy who wants to take Reenie to a dance, will be played by Stuart Fischaff, sopho more in psychology from Yon kers, N.Y. The prejudice of the Flood fam ily toward Sammy's religion, causes conflict between the boy and girl. The part of Cora's sister, Lot tie, will be played by Mary Lee Shef tic, graduate student in speech from Boswell. Her cor roding marriage plays its part in adding to the serios of stories. Her husband Morris will be played by James French, gradu ate student in engineering mech anics from Huntsville, Ala. Other members of the cast are Beverly Hoffman who plays the part of a flirt; Robert Jervis play ing another boy from the Military Academy; and Phyllis Hutton in the part of a bookholder. The play is directed by Warren S. Smith, associate professor of theater arts.
