Unlimited Cuts
To Be Handled
By Assembly
By JOEL MYERS
The plan for unlimited cuts
for students having at least a
3 5 average will be handled by
the SCA Assembly rather than
the Chemistry-Physics Stu
dent Council, where it origi
nated, according to Irving
Klein, council president.
Klein told the council, in its
final meeting of the semester last
night, that the plan would be car
t ied out on a University-wide ba
sis because it affected all the stu
dents rather than just those in
the College of Chemistry and
Physics.
He said that many high ranking
University officials favor unlim
ited cuts. Some of them think that
a certain average should be re
quired, while others believe that
till students should enjoy the priv
ilege.
A complete set of bluebook files
which includes finals has been
made available to all students in
the college by the council. Twen
ty-eight bound volumes of blue
books are located in the Chemis
try-Physics library.
Klein will be graduated in Jan
uary and vice president Walt Els
man will assume the presiden
tial duties until a new president
Is elected.
