HUB Will Exhibit
N. Y. Gallery Art
f f> s a tribute to Betty Parsons, owner of the New York
Gallery, the Hetzel Union Building will exhibit from Tues
day to Jan. 12 the works of four painters and one sculptor
from her gallery.
The exhibition, showing 16 paintings and two metal sculp-
tures, will be officially opened by
a reception 7.30 pm. Wednesday
in the HUB reading room.
The painters exhibiting will be
Hedda Stern, Ad Reinhardt, En
rico Donati and Richard Pousette-
Dart. Seymour Lipton will be the
sculptor.
Miss Stern has studied art in
Bucharest, Paris and Vienna. Her
work is included m art museums
in New York and Chicago.
Reinhardt, professor of art at
Brooklyn College, has studied at
New York art schools and his
work is owned by the Philadel
phia Museum and Yale Univer
sity Museum.
• Donati has studied painting in
the United States and France and
his work is owned by museums
in the United States and Italy.
Pousette-Dart is a self taught
artist. He has had 13 one man
shows
Lipton, the exhibiting sculptor,
is a graduate of Columbia Uni
versity and has had over 150
museum exhibitions in this coun
try and abroad.
