Five winning stories from the 1958-59 school year were entered in competition with 70 under graduate chapters. The Collegian also submitted entries in tha news, editorial, and feature writing contests. The award was presented to William Jaffe, University chap ter president, who attended SDX's national convention last week in Indianopolis, Ind. t l H. Eugene Goodwin, director of the School of Journalism, was elected to the national executive council of the fraternity. The un dergraduate chapter placed 15th in the Beckman Chapter Effici ency contest and eighth in the Holgate Professional Achievement Award.
