Ends After Week
Carpenters engaged in campus
construction are back to work
again after a week-old labor dis
pute.
A protest started last Wednes
day when it was found that iron
workers were installing the wood
en parts of the seats in the new
Beaver Field. The walkoff in
volved all the carpenters work
ing on the new dormitories and
the new engineering buildings on
W. College Ave.
International representatives of
[the Carpenters and Iron Workers
[locals were called in to settle
the dispute.
