Walter H. Walters, head of the
department of theater arts, and
instructor of Theater Arts 443—a
class which produces puppet
shows.
The students, under Walters'
direction, present free puppet
shows in the Little Theater, base
ment of Old Main, every Friday
morning during the mid-session.
The• shows are a part of the
students' training in all aspects
and problems found in the pro
duction of puppet plays. The pre
sentation, which is 35 minutes in

Graff Grant Renewed

research grant for another year
for cataloguing and preparing for
publication the manuscripts and
other material of the late G.
Weidman Groff.
Groff, who is known to Penn
State alumni as "Daddy" Groff,
willed manuscripts and other
bibliographical material pertain

east Asia to the University upon
his death in 1954.
