All Lincoinuma found in the Univeisity's collection of histori cal documents is on display. A highlight of the display is an original Lincoln leiter dated June 4, MO. which he wrote to to Washington Agricultural Lit erary Society expressing his thanks to the society for making him an honorary member. The society Was one of two literary groups stinted shortly after the Penn State University opened its doors in 1859. Another interesting item is a picture of Lincoln taken during the 1860 Presidential campaign which was given to the Univer sity by Fred Lewis Pattee. The Civil War Presinent served as the centxral figure in Henry Varnum Poor's famous Land Grant frescoes painted in the lobby of Old Main, University ad ministration P t c tures and material concerning the fres coes arc included in the exhibit.
