proceeds from this perfoi mance
will go to foreign students and

To Begin Study
Buon Li, assistant professor
of aeronautical engineering, will
onduct ie,earch in magnetogas
dynamics under a 1-year $10,150
contract from the Combustion Di
vision of the Air Research and
Development Command of the
U S Air Force. ,
Findings from Li's research
could help solve the complex
problems of the re-entry of satel
inch into the atmosphere from
outer space and also could have
application to problems of space
propulsion and areas of outer
space communication.
Li, who came to the Uni
verNit y last year, received his
bachelor of science degree from
National Central University, Nan
king, China, and his master and
doctor of philosophy degrees from
the University of California.
