Gravatt Dies
At Age of 83
Thomas Ezekiel Gravatt, 83-
year-old professor emeritus of
mathematics, died last Thursday
afternoon at the home of his
daughter, Mrs. Henry A. Kimmel
of Rose Valley, Delaware County.
He is survived by his wife, Mary
Midaugh Gravatt; three daugh
ters, Mrs. Kimmel, Mrs. D. G.
Gibson, Bridgeville, Pa., and Mrs.
Matthew Piedi, Watsontown, Pa.;
a son, Howard R. Gravatt, Mine
ola, N.Y.; two brothers, M. D.
Gravatt, Plainfield, N.J., and Al
phonso Gravatt, Forest Hills,
N.Y.; a sister, Mrs. A. C. Goddard,
Forest Hills, N.Y.; and nine grand
children.
Funeral services will be held
from the Koch Funeral Home at
2 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be
in Centre County Memorial Park.
There will be no public visitation
prior to the time of the service
and friends are asked to please
omit flowers.
