The subjects to be evaluated will be arts 1 and 2, biological science 1 and 2, humanities 1 and 2 and social science 1 and 2 Dr. Phillip A. Shelley, chairman of the course study committee, said yesterday: “We definitely invite student [comments on the courses. The [committee has discussed ways of [getting student reaction to them.’ Under the terms approved by the Senate in June 1957, the eight courses were adopted for two years, subject to review by the courses of study committee this semester. Shelley said his committee will, first study a report covering some; aspects of the General Education; courses compiled by a subcom-, mittee of the Senate Committee' on Educational Policy. j Technical aspects of the courses will be considered, he said, to-', gether with the comment by stu-j dents and faculty members. > “If anyone feels strongly enough! about one or the other courses, we will invite him to come before the committee to discuss hi s views,” Shelley said.
