"There are many halls in this country—famous old halls—made with lots of wood, and they are acoustically good," she said. She was somewhat placated when she was told by other guests that the University plans a new audi torium as part of its expansion program. Turning her attention aiwla:y from auditoriums, Miss Schwarz kopf said she had taken time out from her touring schedule to cele brate her birthday, Tuesday, with a little bit of Christmas shopping in New York City. • "I usually do my Christmas shopping on a plane by reading advertise merits." she said. "When I do shop is New York I have to be careftl because so many times the products shown in New York shops were im ported from Europe."
