Schwab
Hear Green
Crowds overflowed from Schwab
Auditorium at 11 a.m. Sunday
when the Rev. Canon Bryan,
Green delivered the last of hisi
lectures on "Basic Christianity";'
at the University Chapel service I,
of worship. 1
A great number of persons was
turned away from Schwab and
heard the service broadcast in
121, 10, 1 and 2 Sparks.
After speaking at chapel, Can
on Green had dinner with the
members of the All-Campus Bry
an Green Committee in the Het
zel Union Building. He then held
several personal interviews fol
lowing the dinner.
Green met with students in the
pre-ministerial curriculum Sun
day night for dinner at the Wes
ley Foundation.
Green conducted an ecumenical
service for all student fellowships
at 7 p.m. Sunday. Following this
he was honored at a reception
held in the Chapel lounge.
Before he left yesterday to re
turn to England, Canon Green
met with the Bryan Green Fol
low-up Committee and held sev
eral personal interviews.
The fol'ow-up committee will
arrange stady groups and discus
sions on Green's lectures. Also,
plans are being made to continue
the All-Campus Bryan Green
Committee, possibly as a group
to re-vitalize campus religious
organizations, James Miller, jun
ior in liberal arts from Berwick,
said.
Canon Green had been on cam
pus during the past week. He
gave two lecture series, one in
the afternoons on Love, Friend
ship and Marriage and the other
in the evenings on "Basic Chris
tianity."

Schilling added that he went
to the police before they came to
him and that payment of the dam
