The Lions have dropped their last two games to Mary land and Navy and now have a season record of 3-3. When the Nittanies lost to Navy a week * * * ago it marked the first time since 1932 that a Penn State soccer team had lost three games in one sea son. In Temple, the Lions will be facing one of the most improved soccer teams in the East. Last year the Owls had a dismal sea son which included an 8-0 shel lacking at the hands of the Lions. So far this season they hold a• 6-2 slate. I{;?iitiM> Coach Pete Leanaess' Owls ‘ O, -n boast a high-scoring offense which expects to give the Lion defense a rough time today. The offense is led by high scoring Billy Charlton, Charl ton lines up at inside left on the Temple forward wall and last week against St. Josephs he tallied four times. Center forward Len Lucenko and inside right Skippy Kellogg are the other two main offensive threats for Temple. Lucenko is second in scoring this year while Kellogg is right behind him. Temple's defense is led by right half back Eugene Chyzowych. Chyzowych is a good defensive man as well as a potential scoring threat Chyzowych scored an im portant goal in Temple's win over LaSalle a few weeks ago. He is a brother of former Lion star Ihor Chyzowych, The Lions will counter this improved array of Temple soc cer talent with another "re vamped lineup." For the ump. feenth time this season Lion Coach Kenny Hosterman has resorted to Casey Stengel tac tics. In every game this year Hoster man has made at least one big lineup change, but today three new lineup changes. The main change involves the halfbacks where All-American Howie Maicrhofer returns to ac tion after sitting out the first six truly the world's most traveled shoe.
