Eight Officers
Eight men were elected to of
ficers in the West Halls and the
Nittanv Councils Elections meet
ings this week.
Elected to West Halls positions
were Duane Johnson, vice presi

and last night respectively.

Will Open Office ,
The Young Republicans of Cen
tre County will open its its offi
cial campaign headquarters at 7
p.m. Monday in the Whitehill
Building on College Avenue.
David West, chairman of the
group, announced the opening at
a meeting Tuesday and said every
one is welcome to come.
New officers were also elected
at the meeting Tuesday. They are
Neal Roads, vice chairman; How
ard Kreps, treasurer; Sue Whit
tington, campaign manager; and
Deborah Croft, membership chair
man.

students have withdrawn, the
registrar's office reported.
Thirty-four students listed "per
sonal" reasons for withdrawing
from the University in the first
count and nine students last week
gave that reason.
Twenty-two students had with
drawn by Oct. 3 from the off
campus centers.

Five members of the commis
skin were appointed by the gov

by the Speaker of the state house.
The group has been meeting since
January.
