Pledges Nominated
For Jr. IFC Officers
Six fraternity pledges were
nominated for the Junior Inter
fraternity Council presidency at
the group's organizational meet
ing Monday night.
Further nominations will be
accepted Oct. 13, and elections
will be held Oct. 21. Seven nomi
nations were accepted for vice
president and four pledges were
nominated for the secretary-trea
surer's post.
The initial meeting was well
attended by both official repre
sentatives and ot her pledges,
Charles E. Hughes, IFC secre
tary-treasurer and Jr. IFC ad
viser, said.
All but four fraternities were
represented at the meeting,
Hughes said. The group displayed
good spirit, and considerable time
was spent in discussing the plans,
purposes and constitution of the
Jr. IFC, he added.
A list of the present nomi
nees will be sent to all frater
nities Oct. 6 and a complete list
of the nominations will be sent
to the fraternitir presidents
Oct. 15. The officers will be in
stalled at the Oct. 27 meeting
of the group.
