THE DAIIY COLLEGIAN STATE COLLEGE. PENNSYLVANIA
Brotherhood Week traditionally falls in the ten-day period
Between Lincoln's Birthday and Washington's Birthday, a highly
appropriate designation in view of the fact that these two great
American presidents epitomize ideals of freedom, equality, and
dedication. No matter what our respective religious affiliations
may be, we share inextricably in the common heritage of social
justice and freedom inherited from the Bible; in the principle of
ethical monotheism; and in the struggle for human enrichment
and society's enhancement. Our religions, as distinct and unique
as they may be, are in these ways different paths to the same goal.
