Hillel Releases
New Schedule
For Semester
The Cultural Committee of the
Hillel Foundation has announced
the schedule of courses in the
Hebrew and Yiddish language
which will be given this semes
ter.
Classes will meet once weekly'
and textbooks will be provided.:
A course in beginner's Hebrew
will be taught at 7 p.m. Wednes
days by Miss Alisa Kornfeld. This,
class will have its first meeting
at 7 p.m. Feb. 19. A course in the
Yiddish language and conversa-.
lion will have its first session at
7 p.m. Monday, with Mrs. Anna'
Glasser as instructor.

Dr. H. B. McDonnell M.D..
Class of 1888, the University's
oldest living graduate, died last
Saturday in Riverdale, Md. at
the age of 94.
A retired faculty member of the
University of Mary land where he
had served as head of the chem
istry department and dean of ap
plied science, he had been a resi
dent of College Park, Md., for
many years.
Survivors include a brother,
Milton E. McDonnell, of Holli
daysburg, who was graduated
from Penn State in 1893.
With Dr. McDonnell's death.
the title of oldest living Uni
versity graduate now belongs to
James C. Mock, class of 1890.
who lives in Detroit, Mich.
