Wilson Named Associate Dean For Research Dr Ila ro'.d K Wilson returns today from a 6-month leave of absence to as?%isme his new posi tion as a:;cociate dean of admis sions for research and develop ment. For the past eight years Wilson served as director of the Division of Intermediate Registration and is engaged in preparing a final report on the activities of the di vision. The division, whose functions now are handled by the Division of Counseling, served primarily as a counseling agency for students having scholastic difficulties. In his new position. Wilson will be concerned primarily with stud ies of the academic proficiency of students. While on leave he worked on a counseling book, which be is co authoring with Dr. Jefferson D. Ashby, assistant professor bf psy chology and assistant director of The Division of Counseling. Wilson, who holds the title of professor of agronomy, also has been working on a high school agronomy text.
