JUST WHO ARE the truly beautiful women who abound on this
campus? Are there countless multitudes or are they a fleeting few. Just
what is it that exactly defines "a beautiful coed" so that in the eye of all
viewers she is no-less striking. In our attempt to find classic beauty we
reverted to an ancient Greek mathematical expressidn that defines beauty
"the ratio of the length of the nose from the bridge to its tip versus
the length of the bottom of the chin to the upper lip and its inverse ratio
etc' ... Using this formula withrelentless accuracy, student artist Leonard
Epstein and myself have for the past 14 Months selected from over 4000
' girls the 36 faces that accurately maintain this beauty formula of antiquity.
It is unfortunate that 6 of these girls have since left school. Other data ...
`s9 of these girls are or have been sorority presidents. All but two have been
pinned at least once. By sheer coincidence or good taste, eleven of them --
are engaged to SAE's. Two are winners of the round trip to Bermuda which
we sponsor each year.
SO• • • A COMPOSITE of these 36 faces has been grouped and
mounted on a large board which will be on display today-in the window
of the Treasure House which is located below the studio. While the

these girls has the remotest inkling of her new found fame. As a.souvenir
