The finalists and their spon soiipg organizations are: Virginia Martindale, Sigma Sig ma Sigma; Lois Shaffer, Delta Delta Delta; Dorothy Lentz, Al pha Zeta; Marjorie Miller, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and Janet Dugan, Theta Kappa Phi. Miss Martindale, a member of Sigma Sigma Sigma sorority, is s se co n d-semester freshman i borne economics from Ardmor and a member of the Women' Recreation Association hocke: club and Campus party. Miss Shaffer, sophomore in ele mentary education from Allen town and a member of Delta Deity Delta sorority, was the winner in the University ROTC queen con test last year which was spon sored by the Pittsburgh Press. Miss Lentz, junior in elementary education from Media and a mem ber of Delta Gamma sorority, was sophomore class queen last year and a finalist for Military Ball Queen. - Miss Miller, sophomore in ele mentary education from Bryn Mawr and a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority, belongs to Cwens, sophomore women's hat society. She is a past freshman class secretary-treasurer and was Maid of Honor in last year's May Court. Miss Dugan is a freshman in arts and letters from Pittsburgh. Judges for the finalist contest Thursday night were Ray T. For tunato, director of Employe rela tions; Frank F. Morris, director of personnel services; and Ridge Riley, executive secretary of the Alumni Association. Bill graduated from Texas Christian Uni versity in 1953 with a B.S. in Commerce. He went right to work with Southwestern Bell in Fort Worth. How did he make his choice? Here's what he says: "From what I'd seen it was an interesting busing with tremendous room for expansion.. And a big feature with me was the opportunity to choose my location.
