Biological Society Gives 2 Awards Richard Heberling and Philip Dopkowski have been awarded certificates of recognition for out standing work by Phi Sigma, na tional honorary biological society. Heberling, graduate student in bacteriology from Mt. Penn, will receive a doctor of philosophy de gree in June. He plans to join the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public Health in virus work. Dopkowski, senior in botany and plant pathology from Ply mouth, will continue his studies at. Johns Hopkins University with a fellowship in cellular physiol ogy. Profs, Grad Attend History Meetings Three members of the Depart ment of History attended recent meetings of the Pennsylvania Federation of Historical Societies and the Council of the Pennsyl vania Historical Association at Harrisburg. They are Dr. Philip S. Klein, professor of American history and president of the association; Dr. Robert K. Murray. associate professor of history and secretary of the association; and Wallace W. Workmaster, graduate assis tant in history, a member of the association's council. Dr. Klein was elected vice pres ident of the Federation at its business meeting.
