For Cunningham, who'won all six events in which he competed for the Lion frosh, this will be his “first big one.” The competi tion will be the best in the coun try. But for Werner, it will be the second try. His first crack at the national championships was as a “green” junior in high schooL He competed “just to get the exper ience.” Werner, incidentally, lost only two events this year—both in tumbling and both to Cun ningham.
