Bob Bainbridge was the lone Lion to emerge victorious, copping a victory over Earle Smith, 1956 Middle football captain. Bainbridge turned in a 68 score for the 18-hole distance. Smith, who is playing his first season on the Navy links, fired a 71, .Middies highest total of the [match. • Pulling was lhe key factor in Penn Stale's defeat, according to Navy Coach Bob Williams.
