Indie Evaluation Plan
Initiated by Leonides
Leonides Council initiated a proposed plan Monday night
for evaluating the activities of independent women in Leon
ides affairs.
Under the plan, presented by Barbara Barniker, chair
man of the point system committee, independent women
will receive points for different
degrees of participation. A mini
mum of 15 points must be ob
tained in order to purchase a
Leonides' pin.
Rosetta Kearney, president of
Leonides, spoke to the women
on the present "lack of spirit"
in Leonides. "We are desperate
ly in need of women to back
Leonides," she said, "and we
want people we can depend on."
Under the new system indepen
dent women will receive 5 points
as committee chairmen, 4 points
as committee co-chairmen and 1
to 3 points as committee mem
bers. Each woman present re
ceived 1 point for attending the
meeting. A cup will be awarded
at the end of the year to the coed
with the most points.
Leonides Council members are
also included in the point, plan.
Miss Kearney announced that
the next mass meeting, a satire
on the Academy Awards, will
be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the
Helsel Union assembly room.
The . satire will be a series of
