Five Frosh
To Bus Ad
Five freshmen were elected to the Business Administra
tion council a to special meeting of all freshmen in the Col
lege last night.
The council was the only one to complete elections yester
day. Five remaining councils will announce election results
today and tomorrow.
The Mineral Industries and En
gineering and Architecture coun
cils held voting for students in
the colleges Tuesday. Nine stu
dents were elected to positions on
the two councils.
The five students, all freshmen
in business administration, who
were elected to posts on the Busi
ness Administration Council are
Janet Ours, Lewis Johnson, Carol
Ehman, Thomas Brandois, and Al
bert Schneck.
4 to Complete Voting
Four councils will complete the
second day of voting at 5 p.m.
today at various places on cam
pus. Results of the elections will
be released tonight.
Elections for four freshman po
sitions on the Liberal Arts coun
cil will be held from 9 a.m. to
1:30 p.m. in Waring Hall and from
1:30 to 5 p.m. in the Hetzel Union
Building.
The College of Chemistry and
Physics will hold elections from
8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today in the lobby
of Osmond Laboratory.
Freshman students in the Col
lege of Education will vote for
council representatives from 8
a.m. to 5 p.m. today in ballot
boxes located outside Schwab
Auditorium.
Home Ec Elections
Elections for freshmen on the
Home Economics Council will be
held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today
in the lobby of the Home Eco
nomics Building.
The 16 nominees for four posi
tions on the Liberal Arts council
are: Saul Bernstein, Gerald Bo
gus, Anna Carlisle, Lee Cohen,
Mono Fehrenbach, Robert Frank
lin, Richard Friedman, Nancy
Hankins, Robert Jubelirer, Mary

To Elect President
The executive committee of the
Young Republicans C 1 u b will
meet at 6:30 tonight in 218 Het
zel Union to elect a president to
succed John Higgins, who resign
ed yesterday.
Thomas Emerick, junior in busi
ness administration from Johns
town, announced yesterday that
he was a candidate far the post.
According to the club's constitu
tion, a new president is elected,
not chosen from the next-in-com
mand.
Following the election, a meet
ing for the entire club will be
held at 7 p.m. in the same room.
Refreshments will be served.
Psi Chi to Sponsor
Mixer in HUB Tonight
Psi Chi, psychology honorary
society, and the executive com
mittee of the psychology depart
ment will sponsor their annual
ixer at 7:30 tonight in the ball
room of the Hetzel Union.
The new Psychology graduate
student center will open at 10 to
nigh t. Refreshments will be
served at the opening.

2 Penn Game
Dances Planned
Two Philadelphia groups will
sponsor dances tomorrow night
for University students, attending
the Penn State-University of
Pennsylvania football game.
The University of Pennsylvania
Student Union will sponsor an in
formal dance from 8 to 12 p.m.
tomorrow at Houston Hall, in
Philadelphia.
The dance, called the "Hayloft
Hoedown" will feature a dance
orchestra for round dancing, with
square dancing to be held during
intermission.
Admission will be $1,25 per
couple, which will include re
freshments.
The Ogontz Center will stage a
pre-game pep rally and informal
dance at 8 p.m. on Friday evening
in the Center gymnasium.
