major, recording secretary; and

ucation major, executive secre

Campus party amended its con
stitution to set up an advisory
board composed of five members
and a chairman. They will have
no voting power on the commit

To Get Gavels
From Cabinet
All-University Cabinet decided
to present ingraved gavels to
Jesse Arnelle and John Speer,
fermer Cabinet president and vice
president, at their meeting Thurs
day night.
Richard Rigling, fifth semester
arts and letters major. was elected
Cabinet parliamentarian, replac
ing Thomas Kidd, eighth semester
education major, at the meeting.
Cabinet also heard a request by
Dean of Men Frank J. Simes con
cerning the number of students
who have failed to appear before
Traffic Court in answer to traffic
violation summons.
About 100 students have ignored
all notices to appear before the
court. If this situation continues
to exist, Simes said, it is possible
that the students won't be al
lowed by the registrar to enroll
for the fall semester.
In an effort to force the stu
dents to pay their fineS, Simes
requested Cabinet to find step 3
to make the students "shape up."
