PAGE EIGHT Plans Made For BusAd Open House The Business Administration Student Council Tuesday night discussed plans for Business Ad ministration Open House to be held as part of the combined col lege open house on April 23. Ralph H. Wherry, head of the department of commerce, will speak on the different depart ments of the College of Business Administration and introduce a half-hour film, "This Is Penn State ” George Leetch, director of th- University placement service, will discuss the job opportunities available to students after grad uation. Following the speeches a mix er will be held in the Hetzel Union Building for the high school students. Council decided to publish the final issue of the Biz-Ad-Bulletin on April 23 so copies of it can be given to the students. In speaking against the amend ment, Benjamin Sinclair, chair man of the Board of Dramatics and Forensics, said that the pro posal was a "danger” to the repu tation of All-University officers. He said that an irresponsible stu dent could ruin an officer’s repu tation by maliciously initiating charges against him regardless of whether they were carried out. Sinclair stated that the adverse publicity could endanger an offi cer’s reputation. In other action, Cabinet passed one amendment, delayed action on another, and defeated a third, presented by Ross Clark, chair man of Tribunal. His first was to permit students to appeal to Tri bunal decisions of Traffic Court only on the basis of an unfair trial. Previously, students could appeal these decisions to Tribunal for any reason. Clark’s second proposal was to put 50 per cent pf the fines col lected by Traffic Court into Cab inet’s student scholarship fund.
