FEBRUARY le. 1958 Army Mat, Gym Teams Visit Lions Tomorrow Army draws a double-barreled bead on Rec Hall tomorrow night when its wrestling and gymnastic teams visit, the Lions to offer local fans a three-hour twin bill which promises to be packed with explosive sports action. Cadet,mat coach Lloyd Appleton, whose 13quad owns a 2-3 record, will open the sports doule-header at 7 p.m. when his squad spririgs into action against Penn State which sports a 3-1 card. The Army-Lion gym contest has been tagged to start at 8:45 p.m. Penn State wrestling coach Charlie Speidel has announced he will stick with the same lineup that netted the Lions a 22-8 victory against Syracuse last week. Following is Speidel's stating , lineup with each man's record and weight division: Sid Nodland (123), 3-0-1; capttiin Sid Nodland (123), 3-0-1; captain Bob Homan (130), 4-0; Larry Fornicola (137), 3-0; Dave Adams (147), 4-0; Len McNeal (157), 0-1; Joe Humphries (167), 0-1; Joe Krufka (177), 3-1; and Bill Oberly (heavyweight), 3-1. Gene Wettstone's Lion gymnasts will be out to gain undisputed possession of first place in EIGA competition, when they go against the Cadet gym team in the eve ning's nightcap. The West Point performers, holders of a 4-0 slate, will be counting on a host of veterans to stop the Nittanies from con tinuing their two-year dominance in the East, Penn State captain Karl Schwenzfeier will continue in his iron-man role, appearing in three events—side horse, parallel bars, and flying rings. Skeets Haag will lead a list of Lion rope climbers, Bill Pax ton will b, number one on the mats, and Skip Heim will be shooting for top honors on the horse. Wettstone will have Dion Weis send, Tony Cline, and Al Poy dock on the horizontal bar, Don Rehm and Harry Maley on the parallels, Dave K.ennedy and Dud lootter on the mats, and Leroy Fitch and Bill Marshall behind Haag on the rope. The Cadets thus far own wins over Syracuse, North Carolina, Georgia Tech and Temple. IM Results Five teams came from behind In the second half to win their games on the nine-game intra mural basketball card Wednesday night. Those teams which rallied to win were Cody Manor, trailing 4-6 at the half, to beat the Cru saders, 18-10; the Vikings (9-11) defeated the Spartans, 33-20; the Pershing Rifles (10-12) won a 22-20 decision from the Atherton Men; Town Council (5-10) eked by the Penn Club, 19-17; and Sig ma Pi (11-15) defeated Phi Mu Delta, 29-27. On the fraternity side, Ed Suley hooped 19 points for Sigma Pi to gain individual scoring honors.
