'7:r TWO Photo Club To Receive Dark Room By BARBARA BUDNICK A photographic dark room lo cated in the Hetzel Union Build ing will be reserved for the use of the newly reorganized Camera Club, Robert S. Beese, assistant in photography and co-adviser to the group, announced at the club's first meeting Tuesday night. The dark room will be equipped with a new 4" x 5" Omega enlarg er and a 35mm Omega enlarger. Also trays, tanks, a print washer, and print drying facilities are being purchased by the Univer sity. The dark room will be ready for use next month and will be large enough to accommodate six to eight members at one time. The Camera Club has been in active during the past year be cause the dark room equipment housed in the Pollock Union Building was stolen. The two advisers, Beese and Roy M. Conger, associate profes sor of physical education, led a discussion on photographic sub jects and color slides were shown by Beese who has won honors in color slide competition. Plans were made for the next meeting on Tuesday in 241 Rcc Hall. The club is open to anyone in terested. However, persons in terested in taking pictures, doing dark room technique, or teaching photography to persons new to the hobby are needed, Beese said. 21 Are Named To Positions By Lion Party Robert Spadaro, Lion party clique chairman, has announced the appointment of 21 students to positions in Lion party. Spadaro also announced that the steering committee will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday in 217 Willard. Spadaro named Jay Tolson, membership manager; Robert Luf ty, publicity manager; Robert Tis ot, financial chairman; Suzanne Scholl, women's campaign mana ger; Edward Long, men's cam paign manager, and Augustus Mercurio, p l a t f or m committee chairman. Fifteen others were appointed to the party advisory committee. They are Doreen Hayward, Miss Scholl, Alice Wolf, Frances Hoff man, Lufty, George Buckhout, Tisot, Mercurio, Gerald Kleinstub, Maorie Fox, William Kelly, Ro bert Stroup, Tolson, Charles Brad er, and Robert Segal. 2 Students Iniured In Auto Accident Two students were injured when the car of Kenneth Bech tol, Port Matilda, went through the E. Beaver avenue stop sign at Locust Lane and hit their car Tuesday night. Injured were William Banfield, eighth semester arts and letters major, who was driving, and Ro bert Cubbison, sixth semester business administration major. They were treated in the Univer sity infirmary for bruises and la cerations of the head and body.
