Campus Facilities
To Remain Open
Contrary to what most students would believe, many campus
organizations and facilities continue to function during finals and
registration just the same as they have been.
One which will continue through finals is campus radio station
WDFM. Students who are fortunate enough to have FM radios may
heal. "Music to Study By" from
Friday to Jan. 27. The station will
go off the air Jan. 27; and resume
broadcasting Feb. 7.
Those students who are really
ambitious and want to get rid of
this semester's books as soon as
possible may take them to the
Used Book Agency in the Tem
porary Union Building from 1 to
5 p.m. Tuesday to Jan. 28.
Attending chapel services Sun
day morning will make a good
break for students who are usual
ly "bogged down" at this time
anyway.
Dr. John Dillenberger, profes
sor of historical theology at Var
yard University Divinity School,
will speak on the topic "The
Church in Life and Life In the
Church" at this last chapel serv
ice of the semester.
Senate Committee
The number of students pro
moting organizations or soliciting
memberships to these organiza
tions outside Recreation Hall dur
ing registration will be fewer this
year. The Senate Committee on
Student Affairs has taken action
on the matter and decided that
special permission must be grant
ed by the Committee to students
who want to solicit at Rec Hall.
The material handed out there
is often thrown away by students
and the walks in front of Rec
Hall become littered with paper.
The University . Infirmary, ready
for all casualties, will be open 24
hours a day during finals and be
tween semesters. The Dispensary
