Regular starter Bill Straub is still fighting a leg injury and Chuck Blockson is still out of commission. Straub, however, will see some action today. On the line, Jesse Arnelle and Jim Garrity will be at the ends and either Dan De Falco or Rosey Grier will team up with Danser at the tickles. Dick DeLuca and Keith Horn will be at the guards, and Frank Reich at center.• Anderson's biggest threat comes in a package deal. Three quarter backs loom as the biggest hurdle for the Lions. John Stephans, Billy Smithers, and Tom Roberts will probably all take a hand in Anderson's passing attack. The trio has kept the Crusaders in the 11th spot in the nation. And Penn State ' will probably see plenty of captain Lou Hettinger, the right halfback. Hettinger is currently the Crusaders' leading ground gainer, scorer, and pass receiver. Holy Cross will be after its sec ond win of the season against five losses. Despite it's dismal won lost record, however, the Crusad ers are actually a pretty formid able outfit. Only one team—Col gate—has beaten them by more than one touchdown, and their one victory was a 14-13 win over highly rated Boston University. Starting Lineups Penn State Pos. Warner, will be seeking their fifth win in eight games. Navy has lost two games and tied one this fall. But Coach Ken Hosterman and his victory-crazed sixth straight victory of the campaign when they close AlthOugh the Penn State-Navy match was snowed out at Anna polis, Md., last year, the Midship men played nine_ other games to finally post a 3-5-1 record. In nine games the Middies scored 27 goals and alloWed their opponents 16. All but "one of Navy's losses during 1953 were dropped by the margin of only one point. Two of the Middies' victories were routs of 7-1 and 7-0. Navy, like Army, usually plays a tight defensive game. But Hos terman's squad had little trouble with Army's defense, which often is one of the best in the East. Penn State's offense has been running through the, opposition like a well-greased pig, and Navy will have to figure out a way to bottle up Penn State's offensive power if it expects to bring hOme 'the bacon. Hosterman will stick with the same lineup for today's game that has paced the Lions to their last five wins. The Nittany lineup is almost completely dominated by ten lettermen, with Steve Flam poris, a sophomore, playing at right halfback, the only non-let terman on the squad. Jim Garrity, Penn State co captain and end, last year gath ered in 30 passes good for 349 yards and three touchdowns.
